Poor Bailey Cocoa

Another weekend has gone by way too fast!  On Friday I took my puppy to the vet to be "fixed."  So most of the weekend was spent nursing and babying her!  The weather was gorgeous out, and I was able to enjoy some nice sun on Saturday with her.  Bailey and I lounged in my backyard and took in some much needed vitamin D.

I didn't want to leave her so I was unable to go food shopping.  Luckily on Friday I had brought home some custom food products home from work. We had gotten a bunch of samples in the day before.  Here is the little darling Bailey Cocoa tanning.  I think she is growing to like the cone, she realized that it props up her bone!

New iPhone 5 Ad Gives Us Feels

April 29, 2013 05:57 by Brandon

If you want to start your week out on an emotional note (and who wouldn't?), you've got to check out Apple's latest iPhone 5 ad. Because it gives us feels, and in the best way possible.

The TV spot shows people across the world using the iPhone 5's popular camera for a variety of reasons, from recording a live concert to sharing photos of custom food products on Instagram.

Apple's new commercial makes you feel like the camera, and indeed the iPhone 5, was designed with you in mind. And there's something about the soft piano playing in the background that reeks of nostalgia.

Watch it below:

P.S. Don't you think the video is vaguely reminiscent of our custom cell phone cases commercial?

Food Samples

Who doesn't love free food? I am sure everyone grabs at free things; I know I do (and so does my co-worker Adam).

I don't really go food shopping, since I still live at home and my parents take care of all that stuff. But, when my parents do go food shopping, my favorite place to go with them is Costco!

Why you might ask? Because I love the food samples that they hand out.

Custom food products also make for great giveaways at tradeshows. What a fantastic way to be remembered!

Brr. Come on, Spring!

We got hit with another snow storm today.  This winter will not quit!

Normally I like the snow, but this year being housebound too many weekends with a 3-year-old and twin 6-month-old boys has taken its toll. I would say we just got a good 12 inches of new snow. I went out this morning and did a quick shovel to get my wife and me off to work, but I am dreading what it will look like when I get home.

I can only hope I get home before my wife. I am looking forward to an easy shovel without any tire marks packing down the snow. Afterwards, I will be looking forward to a cup of tea to warm me up. I have some great logo tea that I recently received as a thank you gift from a neighbor from the last snowstorm.

Monday Night Tradition

February 6, 2012 03:12 by Brandon

Every Monday night, my friends and I get together to kick off the week right.  While many are dragging their feet in the beginning of the week due to a serious case of "the Mondays," Ryan, Joanne and I prefer to celebrate (and recover from) a weekend well spent with a weekly wing night.  We play video games, watch episodes of "The Office," and, of course, eat a massive amount of chicken wings from one of our favorite restaurants, Wing Zone.

Although we've had many, many wing nights, it wasn't until last Monday that I realized the award-winning franchise sends home custom food products with each delivery.  Check out the logoed bleu cheese dip in the photo below!

Unfortunately tonight I won't be able to make wing night, so I'm pretty bummed out.  But I certainly had enough chicken wings last night for Super Bowl Sunday to last me a few weeks!  Still, hopefully nobody will have to break our Monday night tradition next week.

Have a fantastic week, everyone!

Best Part About Football

January 23, 2012 04:05 by Laurie

I love my NY Giants. And yesterdays win was purely amazing. And while I am extremely excited about the Super Bowl, I also have to start planning the fesivities! To me, one of the best things about football is the food that goes along with it. Yesterday Bill and I made a delicious baby back rib recipe in the crock pot. But in 2 weeks from now I need to step up my game! Of course Bill will make his famous Buffalo Chicken Dip, which always leaves me asking the question..."what should I make?" Well this year, the answer is simple...custom food products! I will order delicious treats from Motivators and get them custom imprinted for the party. Everyone loves food, especially when it is custom imprinted food for a specific occasion! So get ready for the GMEN vs Pats, and move over Buffalo Chicken Dip, my custom food products will be the real main event!

The Best iPhone Apps for Food Enthusiasts

December 12, 2011 03:21 by Brandon

If you're anything like me, you love food.  There's nothing better than going out to dinner at a new restaurant with some good friends.  But with so many eateries to choose from, how do you make a decision?

Anyone who owns an iPhone can download several applications to find the restaurant of their dreams.  Let's take a look at some of the most popular foodie iPhone apps:

1.  Urbanspoon

According to Mashable, "This app answers the common question, 'where should I eat today?' All you do is select your location, food type and price range, and it shuffles to find you the best-matched restaurant."  If you don't find something you love, simply press shuffle again and it'll give you a whole new list of options.  This is especially useful if you're looking for custom food products in a city or large town.

2.  Epicurious

If you're looking to stay in and cook tonight, try using the Epicurious app.  It's got over 30,000 recipes available in a user-friendly format.  It's even got photos, reviews and preparation instructions; your meal will be a guaranteed success!

3.  Eat St.

This is a truly original app. Eat St. tells you where you can find food trucks that are driving around your city.  Most importantly, it helps you narrow down your choice by providing information about different trucks' reputations.  Eating cheap doesn't have to be sketchy!

There are many more iPhone apps that are sure to appeal to food enthusiasts all over.  What's your favorite?

Eat your way through the holidays!

December 7, 2011 03:37 by Sam

One of my favorite elements of the holiday season is all the holiday snacks and treats that come with this time of year.  From the peppermint bark to the flavored popcorn, to the gourmet gift baskets, I love indulging in them all!  Over the weekend I enjoyed a Promotional 3 Way Pretzel Tin that was marvelous.  I had to put it in another room to stop eating it!  Custom Promotional Food Products are a great treat for all employees and customers.  They will be able to enjoy it all holiday season long with their families and friends. It is a creative way to get you company talked about outside the office!

Motivators Celebrates Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving has become a holiday that's all about eating. Yesterday, we certainly had a feast here at the Motivators New York office.  Everyone brought in their favorite custom food products and the staff enjoyed a true Thanksgiving banquet.

Check out some photos from our Thanksgiving potluck extravaganza!

As you can see, we went all out this Thanksgiving! I don't think any of us will be hungry for days.  Did your office do anything fun to celebrate the fabulous fall holiday?

All I Can Think About is Food

November 22, 2011 03:30 by Brandon

We're just two days away from Thanksgiving, and all I can think about is food.  So when I found out you can now create your own Domino's pizza on your iPad, I was understandably very excited.

According to Mashable, "The pizza chain has created an app that lets you make a pizza onscreen and then order it in real life."  The application, Domino's Pizza Hero is a game that gives users the experience of kneading pizza dough, spreading marinara sauce, sprinkling mozzarella cheese, adding toppings and even cutting slices within a time constraint.  The point of the game, reports Mashable, is to "make the pizza as quickly as possible and to closely mimic the experience of real Domino’s workers."

Check out the video below which shows the app in action.  Download Domino's Pizza Hero today to make a custom food product of your very own!
