Every year around this time I start to get into the Christmas spirit! Since it comes and goes so quickly, I like to start early. While everyone is getting ready for Thanksgiving, I am decorating for Christmas and listening to jolly tunes! The thing I always struggle with though, is getting the perfect gift for my family and close friends, and even making my own Christmas list. I am a terrible gift-giver AND receiver! On an average day, I start my morning off with not one but two cups of warm, delicious, and caffeinated coffee from my promotional mug. Yesterday, however, I came in to find that we were all out of creamer. As a creature of habit, I can ONLY enjoy my coffee with this specific creamer and three packets of Splenda, so to come in and find I am not having my two cups of coffee really ruined my day! Instead, I had to settle for water from my promotional water bottle, and while satisifying, it just wasn't the same. Wednesday was a very cool and rainy day here in New York and all I had to keep me warm was my custom embroidered fleece, no warm and soothing coffee for me! I even had to break out the promotional stress ball a few times, I guess you can say I REALLY need my two cups of coffee in the morning. Don't worry though, today we have a new stock of creamer, and it's back to business as usual.

I have many promotional products on my desk here at Motivators. To my left there is a cup filled with awesome custom printed pens that I use daily. To my right is a promotional mouse pad with a personalized picture in it of my friends and I. Of course I have plenty of promotional stress balls, for those REALLY great days everyone tends to have once in a while. I recently took part in the New York Zipline Adventure Tours at Hunter Mountain with my in-laws. It is the longest and highest zipline course in North America with over five miles of zipline at 600 feet above the ground. It takes approximately three hours to go through five different lines, making the way down the mountain.

We made sure one person in the group came equipped with a custom backpack filled with all of the essential promotional products needed for our day. Inside the custom backpack was a custom embroidered fleece because we weren't sure how cold it would be, and a custom water bottle to keep us hydrated through the strenuous physical activity.

When we finally made it to the bottom of the mountain, the tour guide explained that we could submit suggestions that could make the tour better/more fun and if your suggestion was implemented you would receive a promotional t-shirt as a prize! I could not have made it through the course comfortably without the help of promotional products.

Promotional products really saved me a lot of grief this weekend when I attempted to turn on my laptop and discovered it had crashed. I really saw how important it is to back up your files on promotional flash drives. Not only are promotional flash drives good for the convenience of always having your documents with you even if you aren't near your computer, but they also REALLY come in handy when your computer dies! I was able to fix my laptop by cleaning it out and reloading it with a new version of Windows 7. After it was up and running again, all I had to do was connect my promotional flash drive and transfer all of my documents and music back onto my new and improved computer!

I recently returned from a honeymoon cruise through the Bahamas. The cruise ship stopped at three different islands along the way. Each island had it's own promotional products available for purchase for yourself or your family back home. One of my favorite stores was Del Sol, everything for sale in the store changes color in the sun. I just had to purchase many gifts from this store because I knew my family would appreciate these souvenirs over others. For my dad, I bought a color changing promotional t-shirt. My sister received a custom tote bag from my trip and I purchased a custom printed pen for my mom. I can definitely say that everyone really loved their promotional souvenirs from my amazing honeymoon!

Summer isn't even officially over yet but it is already starting to cool down significantly. The past two nights have been so chilly that I started thinking about breaking out my custom embroidered fleece. It always makes me a little sad when the time comes to put away the promotional towels and t-shirts. But as soon as i get my comfy fleece back on, it's easy to completely forget about summer and get right into fall/winter mode.

This Friday evening I will be attending my first clam bake at a relatives Country Club. I can't wait to see all of the promotional giveaways they have, and to eat delicious free food of course! Because this Country Club is on a golf course I know almost everyone will be wearing Promotional Polo Shirts and they will be giving away Promotional T-shirts with the clubs logo on them. At the bar they are going to hand out drinks with custom can coolers that you can take home as well. I am just hoping all of this rain in the Northeast is gone and the sun will be shining!

Even though it is only August 1st, it's not too early to start thinking about next years promotional calendar. We have so many different types of calendars to choose from: wall calendars, desk calendars, magnetic calendars, or monthly planners that you can carry along with you wherever you go. I always like to have a wall calendar in my cubicle so I can keep track of my many plans throughout the year since I tend to forget almost everything if I don't write it down. My favorite are the animal wall calendars of puppies & kittens so I can see a new little cutie every month.
