And the Ipod Nano goes to....

As many of you already know, I was lucky enough to win the Ipod Nano at the Motivators Buck raffle drawing. The story behind the win is actually rather funny so I thought I would share! My dad has been talking about getting an Ipod for some time (as his "Dell pod" as we call it is totally outdated), and my sister and I said we would buy one for him for Hanukkah. He was taking so long deciding which one to get, that by the time I found out that the Ipod Nano would be part of the Motivators Bucks Raffle, I jokingly said, "Dad, we might as well wait until after the raffle, maybe I'll win it- you never know!" The conversation happened on Monday (while I was optimistic), and the drawing was on Thursday (when I became less optimistic!). I have never won anything in my life, so I thought my chances were slim.

When it came time to spread out my bucks, I put a limited number in for the Ipod Nano as I became intimidated by my fellow Motivators. But- when all was said and done, I brought home the Ipod Nano that I had promised my dad. He was so excited and shocked, he honestly did not even believe me at first. I assured him that I was struck with luck and we celebrated! With that being said, he was over-the-moon when his local bank gave him one of their custom iPod covers! Now, he can work out with the Ipod Nano on his arm and not worry about losing it in translation. These days, almost everyone has either an Ipod, Ipod Nano or Ipod Touch, so promoting your company with promotional products that they will use every day is a no brainer!
