So over the weekend, I left my car at my friends house and boarded the LIRR to go into the city. After a fun night, at 4 in the morning, I stepped inside my car to start it up. No lights came on, and my battery was completely dead. I had left the vanity mirror on and it drained my battery. I panicked for a second, and took a deep breath. Luckily, I had my emergency auto kit in my trunk. My friend got his car to help me. I let the battery charge for couple of minutes, and it started right back up. I was so relieved that I had the kit.
