I can't get enough of Comedy Central. I try to watch as many Comedy Central stand-up specials as I can and I have seen the likes of Dane Cook, Jim Gaffigan, Demetri Martin, Pablo Francisco and Aziz Ansari. I donated money to the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival and if I had the money, I would visit one of the many comedy clubs New York City has to offer every night of the week. It's been far too long since I've seen a live comedian.
And then I discovered through the Comedy Central that the New York Comedy Festival will be taking place in November and will have sets by the likes of Louis C.K., Sarah Silverman, Ricky Gervais, and many more. I wish I had known about it earlier because many of the shows, while not sold out, have a large amount of cheap tickets sold. Had I known about it, I would have bought close-up tickets to almost every show.
But promotional products would have definitely spread the news better. Handing out promotional tote bags and promotional t-shirts in Manhattan and having the folks at Comedy Central take photos and post them on the Internet would definitely spread word throughout New York and around the United States. I just hope when I buy tickets to a show there are plenty of promotional giveaways.
