This Saturday is officially the first day of autumn. However, lately it seems that we have been completely neglecting this time of year and jumping straight into the winter / holiday season. Many department stores already have their holiday decoration isle ready to present to shoppers. I understand the holiday season is a very joyful and festive time; however, I would love to experience fall before I jump into my not-so-favorite season. I actually enjoy the leaves changing colors, the warm days and chilly nights, apple picking, and snuggling up with a warm fleece blanket.
Just thinking about the holidays reminds me of the snow and extremely cold weather that is just around the corner, and I am not looking forward to that. I am not one to count down the days to Christmas or the New Year, but would rather enjoy every day of the fall, before the weather turns for the worse. And afterall, if we were to jump right into the winter season, who would we give all these great fall giveaways to?
