The Broadway Blueshirts are gearing up for tonight's matchup against the New Jersey Devils at Madison Square Garden. Here are my top 5 reasons to be excited about the Rangers today:
5) Seeing an Original Six team in a legendary arena is always exciting, especially in post season. And you get a fun rally towel as a souvenier
4) It's playoff hockey- how could you not be excited????
3) Brendan Shanahan- (he's assistant captian, a veteran player with three Stanley Cup Championships, and well, he's just dreamy...), & Sean Avery- he just rocks (and watching him taunt Marty Brodeur is always hilarious)
2) Overpriced beer served in cool stadium cups. 
1) Henrik Lundqvist- King Henrik, enough said.
