For all the Eddie Izzard fans out there, my blog title is a little word play on one of Mr. Izzard's infamous sketches during his Dressed to Kill stand up show. But stand up comedians aside, I'm having a very green week here and 317 seems to be my lucky number
Yesterday, the greenest day of the year showed me that Irish eyes were smiling upon me when I had quite the lucky day. And when I headed out to dinner with some friends, I ended up with some great promotional St. Patrick's day items and no my Guiness top hat certainly wasn't as cool as the neon green budweiser fedoras that were floating around but it suited me nicely. And my new Coors Light Shamrock shirt is certainly my favorite giveaway from St. Patrick's Day. So 3/17 seemed to be quite a good day for me. And hopefully that number will remain lucky right on through this weekend. Why?
Well, Motivators is heading to the Go Green Expo in NYC and we'll be at Booth #317. That's an easy way to remember it, isn't it? Our booth number happens to be aquainted with the greenest day of the year.
We've got our eco-friendly polo shirts all set and I haven't yet managed to trip over the box of eco-friendly giveaways that's right by my desk, but the day is still young. Rachel and Tony are in the city right now setting up our booth and getting it nice and ready. Tomorrow Jenn and I will hit the road in her spaceship (aka station wagon) and brave the treacherous beast that is Manhattan during rush hour. We'll be at Pier 92 with time to spare so we can help Anthony set up his video equipment for Motivators TV and we'll be on hand all day on Friday from 10-7PM. And then we'll be there on Saturday from 10-6PM and on Sunday from 10-5PM. It'll be more than just me, and Jenn too. All your favorite promotional consultants will be on hand to discuss our committment to the environment and showcase the latest eco-friendly promotional products. So come visit us!
