I'm With Coco, Are You With Coco?

Where do you stand in the fiercely fought debate? You know, the one issue that is splitting America down the middle, not health care, the late night wars. A generation before me the Late Night Wars meant the battle for the Tonight Show between Jay Leno and David Letterman, of course Jay Leno won. Dave didn't do so badly himself and has had his own successful late night show on CBS for many many years now. Fast forward to 2010 and a new late night war has begun, between former Late Night veteran Jay Leno (current Prime Time failure) and current Tonight Show host Conan "Coco" O'Brien. Now, you may think this is a blog meant for Motivators TV, well maybe, but this transcends tv. This has become more of a presidential campaign then a battle for host of the Tonight Show. Don't believe me? Well take a look at this...

Don't kid yourself, people are as passionate about voicing their opinion about keeping Conan at 11:30 as many were about getting Obama into the White House. I only bring up Obama in this because whoever designed this was clearly looking to have people think of the now famous Obama change portrait, as seen here.

There is even a Facebook group that has almost 500,00 fans in it to support Conan. They have arranged rallies at NBC stations all over the country to support their red headed comedic hero. So,I could only hope that at these rallies there are promotional products galore imprinted with that poster. Let's see some full color bumper stickers , full color buttons and full color hand fans. The possibilities are endless. I support Conan myself, but if you do too, the least you can do is at least watch is his show while it is still on the air. GO TEAM COCO!

You do know the decision has been made and that NBC has sided with Leno? This has resulted in orders of extra episodes of both Community (YAY) and Parks and Recreation and Conan, has now been muzzled from saying anything bad about the network.

Well, I know the decision was made, BUT if you watch Conan he has been far from "muzzled"
