There are several important qualties that one must have in order to be successful. One has to be a good listener and have patience with employees. One has to be able to multi-task and give clear instructions. One has to be diligent and follow through on assigned responsibilities. If one of those qualities happens to be that one must complete the Silver Metallic Executive Puzzle Globe, I must say I do not think I'm cut out for management.
A variation of this product ended up on my desk yesterday afternoon, and I'm all for testing out promotional products. When lunchtime hit, I took my funky little jigsaw puzzle apparent and started putting it back together. Fast forward to 15 minutes later and me being extremely frustrated. Desktop distractions are one thing but holy moley this thing was more than just a simple time waster. This was not my Tangle Junior which I can contort into all sorts of fun shapes. This was not my Dr. Jimmy Bear stress reliever that I could just squeeze and relax myself. This little metallic magnetic jigsaw puzzle was a legitimately difficult task to complete. It was much worse than the Leeds Mental Block, which I have previous openly expressed frustration about.
So if this is a test to see if someone is cut out for management, I think I failed. I really hate puzzles.
