I guess when you're the president of the U.S., you've got a lot of famous friends.
Katy Perry, Jon Bon Jovi, George Clooney and other big names appeared Sunday at President Obama's "30 Days to Victory Concert." And he could use the support -- the fundraising event took place just days after Obama delivered a disappointing performance at last week's debate.
President Obama took the opportunity to remind the audience of 6,000 that there are always going to be setbacks. "Everybody always remembers the victory, but they don't always remember the bumps in the road ... Things always look good in retrospect. But in the middle of it we made all kinds of mistakes. We goofed up. I goofed up. But the American people carried us forward," he said.
Instead of handing out campaign giveaways, the Obama team put on quite the show for supporters. According to MTV, "Perry blew up Twitter when she sang 'Firework' while wearing a stars and stripes outfit as well as red, white and blue nails that includes four images of the president on them."
Jennifer Hudson and Stevie Wonder also performed.
