These days, kids are more likely to recognize and play games on Facebook than the good old-fashioned board games you and I grew up with. Remember enduring marathon-length games of Monopoly only have your butt kicked by grandma? My, how things have changed.
But Hasbro, the maker of many classic childhood games, is looking to change all that. This October, the toy manufacturer will release board game versions of online gaming company Zynga's extremely popular "Farmville," "Cityville," and "Words with Friends" games, Wired reports. Let's take a look at some of the new promo games:
Farmville Hungry Hungry Herd
Loved playing Hungry Hungry Hippos as a youngster? Hasbro's updated version will feature a horse, pig, sheep, and cow (as seen in Zynga's Farmville).
Cityville Monopoly Game
The game will follow the rules of the original Monopoly game, but it's set to Zynga's "Cityville." Very cool!

Words with Friends Luxe Game
As we all know, Zynga's "Words with Friends" closely follows the format made famous by Scrabble. Now the online game will become its own similar board game featuring "a large, rotating game board, 104 letter tiles, a tile bag and four unique tile trays each featuring a spot for a mobile device."
What do you think? Will Hasbro's partnership with Zynga get consumers offline and back into board games?
