I blogged about my garden earlier this year, so I am updating y'all on it's progress. Everything is growing like crazy! Especially the weeds! I was away for a few days and worried that everything would die. Fortunately a friend of mine agreed to water for me. So when I got home, I was pleased to be greeted by flower pots in full bloom instead of dead and dried up plants. In addition to the flowers, the weeds were in full bloom! I pulled out what I could quickly and will have to get in there with a hoe this weekend. I went to the side of the house to check on my tomatoes, and as I suspected, they got so heavy with green tomatoes, that they had fallen over! I had prop them all up using wooden posts. So once again, I found myself gardening in the dark! It took some muscle a few bug bites and about 45 minutes to get them standing up again! The basil is doing fantastic, but I can't figure out what is up with my cilantro. Any ideas on how to get cilantro to grow and flourish? Mine is just so sickly looking! I also planted a blueberry bush, but it looks like I will have to buy a net for it because the birds ate all the ripe blueberries of course! So all in all the garden is a success, except for the darn cilantro. So any one with cilantro growning tips HELP!
