What's a girl to pack?!

For those of you that do not already know, I will be spending some time in NY for the next several weeks. While I am super excited to be close to my friends, family and COWORKERS, packing for such a long trip is not on my FUN LIST. With that being said, I got an early start last week and ended up shipping one box home to my parents house so that I wouldn't get hit with crazy airport luggage fees. While I was only able to get together one box (procrastination, much?), I am planning on bringing 2 "under the plane" bags and one carry-on. Some of you might think this is a little excessive, I know, but that should suffice for my summer in NY and if not, there is always my sisters closet right next door (Thanks Stace!) and Century 21 around the corner from our office (LITERALLY!).

One item that has made my packing experience much easier is my branded TravelPro Digital Luggage Scale. Making sure not to exceed 50 lbs. per suitcase has always been an obstacle for me. While weighing yourself, and then weighing yourself holding the bag - was always fun (NOT!), I praise the inventor of this very special promo item and for that reason, it holds a special place in my heart. I decided to pack off of a check list to make sure I didn't forget anything. On the top of my list was obviously bathing suits and sandals, along with sunglasses and some of my favorite dresses. On the bottom of the list was sneakers and work out clothes, but, I don't think I really have a choice (Summer Boot Camp, anyone?) Overall, packing is not yet complete and I typically end up adding things at the very last minute before we head to the airport.

Catch ya later New York!
