And according to MaximumPC.com, if you've downloaded the Release Preview, you'll be eligible to update to Windows 8 for a ridiculously inexpensive $39.99! Furthermore, Mashable reports that anyone who purchases a Windows 7 PC from now till October will be entitled to a $14.99 Windows 8 Pro upgrade.
